Hyundai is eager to bring the new venue in 2022. The new updated model will be offered in five variants: E, S, S+/S(O), SX, and SX (O). The upcoming model will also be available in seven different colors: Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black, Denim Blue, Titan Grey, and Fiery Red (also available in dual-tone with a black roof). We still have to see what we are getting in Nepal.
A large redesigned grill and a new bumper with a wider black insert highlight the front. The headlamps have also been darkened, and a new LED DRL pattern has been added. The vehicle also includes a new skid plate pattern on the lower half of the bumper.
The sides do not receive significant design upgrades over the current model, but for added appeal, the Venue facelift will feature sleeker ORVMs with turn indicators and redesigned dual-tone alloy wheels.
The rear profile is significantly improved over the current model, with connecting LED tail lamps. Furthermore, the rear bumper now has a thick dark insert with reflectors on both ends, as well as a wide skid plate in the lower half. The compact SUV will have a body-colored spoiler, shark fin antenna, and silver roof rails to complement the overall design. The sunroof is expected to be available in high-end variants.
The interior of the 2022 Venue will be a two-tone black and beige. A four-spoke steering wheel and a large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be standard on the vehicle. The updated Venue also includes an engine start-stop button, an electric sunroof, and automatic climate control for added convenience. More interior details will be revealed after the vehicle's debut on June 16, 2022.
The Hyundai Venue 2022 will be available with two petrol engines and one diesel engine. The 1.2-litre MPi petrol engine produces 82bhp at 6,000rpm and 114Nm of torque at the same speed. This engine is only available with a five-speed manual transmission and comes in four variants: E, S, S(O), and SX.
The 1.0-litre turbo GDi petrol engine produces 118bhp at 6,000rpm and 172Nm at 1,500rpm. The turbo petrol engine is available with both an iMT and a DCT transmission. The powerful petrol engine will be available in two variants: S(O) and SX (O).
The 2022 Hyundai Venue diesel will be powered by a 1.5-litre CRDi engine that produces 99bhp at 4,000rpm and 240Nm of torque at 1,500rpm. The diesel version comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission and will be available in the S+, SX, and SX(O) trim levels.
