Kia's First Hybrid SUV, the Sorento EcoHybrid, is now available in Nepal
The newest member of Kia's large family SUV has been revealed by Continental Associates Pvt. Ltd., Nepal's authorized distributor of Kia vehicles. In Nepal, the Kia Sorento EcoHybrid will be the most recent Sorento model.

Performance
A 1.6L TGDi turbo petrol engine and a 1.49 kWh battery mated to a 44.2 kW AC-synchronous permanent magnet motor power the Sorento Hybrid. The hybrid motor is based on the TMED structure and features a parallel-drive system that allows for shift-by-wire transmission through a six-speed automatic transmission.
The all-wheel-drive SUV uses its electric motor to get to 25 kmph before switching to the TGDi petrol engine. When accelerating, however, it uses both the electric motor and the TGDi petrol engine via power-split transmission.
The new Sorento Hybrid comes with a variety of driving modes, including Normal, Sport, Eco, Smart, Sand, Mud, and Snow, which assist the driver in adapting to changing road conditions.
Design
The sport-body styling of the all-new Sorento hybrid stands out from the crowd, with a black front-grille integrated with multi-reflector LED headlamps. The car has sharp body lines and a full-panoramic sunroof, and rides on muscular 19-inch alloy wheels.
A 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat with 2-way power lumbar support and a 4-way adjustable passenger seat are among the SUV's seats, which are upholstered in Nappa leather. The 50-50 split-folding second-row and third-row seats provide 356L of cargo space.
Features
The SUV has a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen (with navigation and mapcare) that is Android Auto and Apple Carplay compatible. UVO-link remote connectivity, voice recognition, steering-wheel-mounted audio and cruise-control buttons, eight USB charging outlets, heated front seats, tilt-and-telescoping steering column, power door locks, push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, and rear AC vents are among the additional convenience features.
Adaptive cruise control, front-parking sensors, cyclist detection, intersection assist (using sensors to help prevent accidents at intersections), driver drowsiness monitoring, rear-view camera, rear-parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, lane assist, lane-departure warning, forward-collision warning, rear-cross traffic alert, traffic-sign recognition, pedestrian detection, forward and reverse automatic-emergency braking are among the safety features included in the hybrid SUV.
