Design
The new MG Hector has a dual-tone exterior with a chrome-accent grille, LED headlamps and fog lamps, and front floating-light turn indicators. The vehicle's rear features a garnished tailgate, a metal-tone skid plate, and LED taillamps and fog lights. The SUV has dual-tone interiors in champagne and black, with front and rear metallic scuff plates. A 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, a 4-way power-adjustable co-driver seat, and flat foldable (60:40) second-row seats are among the leather-upholstered seats. A leatherette-covered steering wheel with an MG logo in the center sits up front.

Our Verdict
let us talk about the 1.5 L Turbocharged Intercooled petrol engine with manual transmission version which we believe will be the majority of the cars that could be sold in Nepal. This engine can produce 141bhp at 5000rpm and has maximum torque of 250Nm @ 1600-3600rpm which is more than enough here in Nepal. This MG Hector will be equipped with 6 speed manual transmission which sends the power to two front wheels, with its traction control system car should have enough grip. It our opinion this will be the car of the choice here in nepal for most of the public, mid level engine with great performance somehow slightly overpriced at around Rs 60 Lakhs. MG cars have been performing good in Nepal so far what will be the response from public towards this new MG Hector in Nepal still to be seen.
