Tata Safari 2021 Specification, reviews price in Nepal
Tata has reintroduced its flagship Safari moniker with a completely new SUV. It comes in nine different versions: XE, XM, XMA, XT, XT Plus, XZ, XZ Plus, XZA, and XZA Plus. Depending on the type, this SUV can be configured with six or seven seats. There's also an Adventure variant with a black grille, roof rails, and alloy wheels.
Tata Safari is based on Land Rover's D8 platform, which Tata has dubbed OMEGARC. The length of this SUV is 4,661mm, and the wheelbase is 2,741mm. It also comes with HID Xenon projector headlamps and DRLs. Dual-LED stripe tail lamps are also included. Most top-spec Safari versions come standard with 18-inch alloy wheels.It also comes in five different color schemes: Royal Blue, Tropical Mist, Daytona Grey, Orcus White, and Tropical Mist Adventure.The Safari's interior is available in two colors: black and white. The seats are upholstered in Oyster White leather from Tata. Similarly, an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is available. It also comes with iRA linked car technology enabling smartphone communication from afar. A chilled glovebox, a seven-inch TFT color display in the instrument cluster, a nine-speaker JBL sound system (Only for certain variants), and ambient lighting are also included in the SUV.
Six airbags, hill hold control, rollover mitigation, corner stability control, four disc brakes, cruise control, auto dimming rear-view mirror, auto headlights and wipers, and a panoramic sunroof are among the amenities offered by Tata.
The SUV is equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces 168 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed manual or torque converter automatic transmission.
