Maruti Suzuki is preparing to release the next-generation Suzuki Alto 800, which will feature a 796cc PS6 engine and a sporty design.
Maruti Suzuki is India's leading hatchback manufacturer. The Alto 800 is one of the country's most affordable and popular vehicles. The family car has been aimed at Indian middle-class users. According to previous reports, the Maruti Alto 800 will be phased out and replaced by new sub-five lakh vehicles. However, Maruti Suzuki is now planning to release an upgraded version of the Alto 800. The upcoming vehicle is said to be nearing the end of its development process. The third-generation Alto is set to be released in the coming months. Several details about the upcoming vehicle have now surfaced online.
During recent testing sessions, the upcoming Alto was spotted. The family car appears to have a new stylish and bold appearance. According to reports, the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 will be powered by a 796cc PS6 engine with 46PS and 69Nm of torque. The hard deck platform will serve as the foundation for the next-generation vehicle. The design of the upcoming model will be aggressive, with new headlamps and tail lamps. The sporty front grille will be accompanied by bumpers. The biggest difference, however, is said to be in the length and width. Similar to SUVs, the muscular car will have a larger cabin space.
The Next-Generation Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is also expected to include features such as steering-mounted audio controls, a touchscreen infotainment system, keyless entry, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.
Maruti Suzuki currently sells the hatchback in three trim levels: standard, L, and V. In addition, the L trim is available with a CNG kit. The Maruti Alto is powered by a 0.8-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine with 48PS and 69Nm of torque. The CNG version has 41PS and 60Nm of torque. The vehicle is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, keyless entry, front power windows, driver side airbag, rear parking sensors, and ABS with EBD are among the other features. Apple CarPlay is also available on the top-spec VXi+ variant.
